After the race, B Avdulla reported that his mount did not travel well throughout the event and finished the race off only fairly. He added that TORONADO PHANTOM raced "flat” tonight which, in his opinion, may have been due to the quick backup after racing on 24 March 2024. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. |

After the race, M L Yeung reported that his mount failed to travel at any stage of the event and when he felt that there may have been something amiss with it in the Home Straight, he eased it down from the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of FORTUNE WHISKEY, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, FORTUNE WHISKEY will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. |
