3 3 ILLUMINOUS (J170) Shortly after the start was crowded between UNBELIEVABLE and BILLIONAIRE SECRET which was taken out by ROMANTIC CHARM which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider. Sent for sampling post-race.

7 11 KIMBERLEY (H329) As A Hamelin was unable to fulfil the engagement on KIMBERLEY due to being overweight, A Atzeni was substituted as the rider of that horse. The explanation provided by Jockey Hamelin for his overweight was accepted having regard to his good record in relation to like offences. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

10 2 BRAVEHEARTS (H389) Stood flat-footed as the start was effected and lost ground. Before being allowed to race again, BRAVEHEARTS will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial.
11 8 NICHOLSON RETURNS (E452) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the race, L Hewitson reported that his mount did not travel well at any stage of the event and failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of NICHOLSON RETURNS was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, NICHOLSON RETURNS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
