8 11 TO INFINITY (G277) Jumped only fairly and then was crowded by COMET SPLENDIDO which shifted out.
9 1 EXCEL WONGCHOY (J194) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 6 STRONGEST BOY (H027) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. When questioned, Z Purton stated that after shifting to the rail in the early stages, his intention was to improve towards the inside in the Home Straight. He said STRONGEST BOY did not travel well throughout the event and dipped on a number of occasions. He added that in the Home Straight when placed under pressure STRONGEST BOY responded only fairly, however, was held up for clear running between the 200 Metres and the 100 Metres behind EXCEL WONGCHOY which was giving ground. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of STRONGEST BOY was considered to be disappointing as compared to its previous starts. Before being allowed to race again, STRONGEST BOY will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.
11 10 UNITED ENDEAVORS (G030) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, UNITED ENDEAVORS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
12 9 LOOKING COOL (G151) Approaching the 1000 Metres was steadied when crowded by UNITED ENDEAVORS (M L Yeung) which shifted in when not clear. M F Yeung was severely reprimanded. In considering the incident, the Stewards found that as UNITED ENDEAVORS was shifting in, it became awkwardly placed behind GOLDEN DARCI when that runner shifted out, causing UNITED ENDEAVORS to be steadied from the heels of GOLDEN DARCI.
