6 13 MOMENTUM (BT279) A Delpech -- 6Ls off pace on fence in 9th at the 1400 M and much the same at 800 M, about 7Ls down and well outpaced at top of home straight, ran on at the same pace to be nearest at the finish.
8 9 PACKING ANGEL (CB223) R Fradd -- 2-wide and 7Ls behind leader in 10th place 1400 M out, 3-wide and 6Ls down in 10th at 800 M, not much better off and 4-wide entering straight, ran on fairly, never nearer.
9 5 MAGIC HANDS (BT287) C Williams SR Always caught 3-wide down back straight but had cover, 3Ls off pace in 5th at 1400 M, 5Ls down in 6th at the 800 M, 5-wide and 6Ls down entering straight, kept on at the same pace.
10 14 TOP PRIZE (CC097) M W Leung -- On fence in 12th 8Ls off the speed at the 1400 M and was about 9Ls behind at the 800 M, plugged on at the same pace in straight to be nearest at the finish.
