2 2 HONOUR SUPREME (CB393) A Delpech -- Settled in rear section. Remained 8Ls behind the leader at 400 M. Rallied nicely in the straight and nearly caught winner at the line.
3 10 MOVE IT (CD211) A Starke -- Dropped to last place shortly after start. Trailed field until home turn. Zig-zagged through rivals in the straight and closed the race off strongly.
4 4 BUMPER BUMPER (CD025) R Fradd -- Settled on fence towards midfield. Never more than 4Ls off pace in back straight. Continued to gain ground in the straight despite hanging in over the closing stages.
5 9 CLASSIC NAVIGATOR (CD330) F Coetzee TT1 Ridden out of the gates before settling behind the leader into first turn. Continued to race in a prominent position until straightening. Kept on well but unable to gain ground on rivals.
6 6 BEST LUCK (CC062) W Woods -- Dropped to rear section and remained towards the rear until home straight with an 8Ls deficit. Ran on well and made up some ground closing stages.
7 3 BOLD WINNER (CD141) P Payne SR-/B1 Settled on rails behind midfield. 6Ls behind the leader at 800 M and remained in similar position entering home straight. Lacked the needed rally in the straight.
8 8 GALLANT KNIGHT (CC189) D Dunn -- Behind midfield early stages. 2-wide and 6Ls off the pace at 800 M. Made some progress at 400 M. Kept on same pace to line.
9 1 HELENE MOMENTUM (CB453) C Williams -- Jumped well but was allowed to drift back. Raced 3-wide at midfield without cover in back straight. Widest turning in and only kept same pace in the straight.
10 12 WIN AGAIN (CD371) M Rodd BO Ridden along in the early stages to be in a forward position. 2-wide and raced behind the leader in back straight. Failed to quicken on straightening.
11 7 ENRICHING (CD116) O Doleuze SR1 Slowly away and soon raced near the rear. Remained at the back and was last to enter home straight. Never picked up in the straight.
12 11 GREAT WIN (CD223) B Prebble -- Off fairly from widest draw and was slow to muster speed. Wide into first turn and worked its way into a disputed lead. Had a 1/2L lead at the home turn but weakened quickly on straightening.
