8 4 GOLDEN WIN (CE062) D Whyte -- Well placed in 3rd out 2-wide and 3Ls off speed down backstretch, a little further behind in 3rd entering home straight, one-paced thereafter.
9 1 DR POSSI (CE288) B Prebble B- Soon driven along in rear about 9Ls behind leader, still well behind taking home corner, made some minor late progress.
10 7 LUCKY GUYS (CE016) H W Lai SR 2-wide and worse than midfield about 7Ls or 8Ls off speed through to home turn, failed to quicken up.
11 8 FRAMES DEPOT (CG118) W M Lai -- Slowest away, never on terms and always at least 9Ls off the pace in rear until home turn, plugged on evenly late.
12 9 DANCING FAITH (CE297) A Delpech -- 2-wide and 4Ls behind speed in 4th early on, struggling to lie up at 600 M, fading off home turn and very weak, eased down inside final 200 M.
