12 MILLION CHASE (CD132) W M Lai B2 Began with them, restrained from wide alley to camp just off midfield, angled down to rail 3Ls away at mid-point, came between horses on turn, split presented at 150 M, pushed up nicely to dash over the top of them.
7 DR CANDY (CG253) B Prebble -- Slow to begin, soon mustered speed to be just in behind leaders, raced 1 out 1 back 2Ls away, crowded at 600 M on bit, had plenty to offer on turning, angled out in straight, closed well briefly hitting lead before collared last 50 M.
9 FOURSQUARE (CE081) C W Wong -- Broke nicely, showed good speed to hold rails, pressured throughout by outside horses, travelling nicely 1/2L clear on turn, kicked strongly in straight, raced tight last 200 M, held on well for 3rd.
3 DANEMAN HILL (CD374) M Nunes P-/TT2 Fastest to hit ground, took up prominent spot outside leader, applied pressure throughout, still at leaders girth to turn, challenged strongly for length of straight, held on well despite hanging to make the frame.
11 SUPERB (CE093) A Delpech -- Only fair to begin, lacked speed and settled worse than midfield on rails, raced 5Ls from them to turn, followed between horses into straight, closed race off nicely late to be closest at finish.
8 TIGER PRAWN (CG279) F Coetzee -- Began with them, ridden along to hold midfield position, raced 3-wide with cover in mid-section, under pressure and lost spot to be 3Ls back approaching turn, came wide and got going again to do best work late.
5 OKEYDOKEY (CD190) K L Chui B Quick to leave gates, unable to cross them from outside alley, posted 4-wide without cover in mid-section, always working to turn, couldn't find extra gear in straight, only maintained same pace after hard run.
1 VICTORY WARRIOR (CA338) P H Lo CP Amongst first few to begin, pressed on in an effort to lead, forced to race 3-wide without cover, continued to work hard applying pressure to leaders to turn, began to struggle on entering straight, run ended and weakened out.
10 TRIUMPHANT GLORY (CB368) S K Sit B Standard break, lacked early speed and drifted back to near rear, still outpaced 8-9Ls off them at mid-point, kept to inside in straight, made up a little ground late from an impossible spot.
4 KING'S CHOICE (CG040) H W Lai -- Began awkwardly, gathered speed to drive through behind leader, had easy trip thereafter, 2Ls down but under pressure on turning in, didn't offer a sprint in straight and steadily faded out.
6 CLOVIS (CH044) Y T Cheng -- Slow to begin, lacked turn of foot early, raced in rearward few, well back 9Ls away on turn, ridden along on turning but made no impression in run to line merely holding ground.
2 NAMJONG SMILE (CG181) M Odendaal H-/B1 Slow to begin, checked shortly after start, couldn't go early speed and became further detached, raced 5Ls from second last horse, never in it and beaten a very long way.
