9 FLYING TAMARI (CG151) G Mosse -- Well enough to begin, camped behind speed 4Ls back on rails, not asked in mid-section, angled 2 wide on bend, into clear at 400 M, steadily closed down centre of track but found winner too good.
7 CALCANDO (CE232) F Coetzee TT Began with line, allowed to stride forward to take up prominent position, raced first outside leader 2Ls away, at leader's girth on bend and challenged strongly turning in, kicked hard and lead until overhauled at 100 M.
1 POCKET MONEY (CE253) D Whyte B Jumped with rest, drifted back to settle just off midfield, raced 2 wide 6Ls away in mid-section, came 3 wide on bend, gave a start on turning in but stuck on gamely down middle of track to make frame.

12 PICTURE PERFECT (CD297) A Delpech -- Broke in line, allowed to slot in behind pace, raced 2 wide 3Ls back in 1 out 1 back position, enjoyed nice trail throughout, came 3 wide turning in, threatened to 200 M but run ended and kept on same pace to line.
5 GRAND CRU (CG265) B Prebble B Even break, drifted back from awkward alley, forced to race 3 wide without cover 7Ls away in rear section, always well back to turn, angled 4 wide and made run down centre steadily closing to be nearest on line.
4 ROMANTIC WINNER (CE112) K T Yeung -- Average to begin, lacked early speed and settled worse than midfield, raced 2 wide 8Ls off pace, not asked in middle stages, back in traffic turning in, only really got going late and made up plenty of ground last 200 M.
6 OCEAN TRANQUIL (CE155) D Nikolic B Standard to leave gates, didn't display early speed took up position in midfield on rails 6Ls away, had quiet trip to turn, came 2 wide between horses at 400 M, amongst horses throughout straight but never really went up a gear.
