8 MUTUAL FUN (CH098) C Soumillon SR1 Slowly into stride, raced on outside rail behind midfield 4Ls back at midpoint, pushed along and responded at 300 M, gradually improved and found an extra gear last 100 M to close over the top of leader to score.
10 TOP STITCH (CE273) F Coetzee TT First to hit ground, showed usual speed to lead them up, raced 2Ls clear on outside rail, kept going at a good clip, still held some advantage to 200 M, weakened last 100 M and was collared right on line.
11 STEP TO WIN (CG167) S Dye B/TT Reasonable break, took up role in middle of track 2Ls off lead, always in 2nd, moved closer at 300 M and shifted towards outside, stuck to task battling on for a solid third.
4 INVESTAR (CH099) O Doleuze XB Jumped a little awkwardly, took up position in middle of track from inside draw, had cover behind horses 3Ls back, made ground from 300 M, kept giving to make the frame. Useful debut.
1 WIKI WIKI (CD205) A Delpech -- OK beginning, kept near outside rail, raced behind leader 2Ls back, pushed along at 300 M, responded fairly and stuck to task last 100 M to hold ground without really looking likely.
13 GEM MASTER (CG235) C W Wong B/TT Well enough to begin, in middle of track from poor inside draw, dropped in for trail to race 5Ls back, under pressure at midpoint, came again last 200 M to make some late ground (lost both front plates).
9 SWEET BABY (CG294) D Nikolic -- Began with line, settled behind main bunch 4 to 5Ls away towards outside, green throughout and pushed along at midpoint, didn't really find extra and just kept on at same clip to line. Better for outing.
5 KEEN SOUL (CH092) E Saint-Martin -- Moderate beginning but recovered to trail leader on outside rail 3Ls back, pushed along to make ground at 400 M, ran out of condition and weakened last 200 M.
7 MARVELLOUS (CH026) K S Yu SR1 Ordinary break, kicked up to be amongst main group well off rail 3Ls back, there to 400 M but struggled when pressure applied, didn't make any impression in run to line.
14 DOUBLE FANTASY (CG141) M Nunes B1 Well enough to jump, up challenging in middle of track 2Ls back, never really looked comfortable, unbalanced at 400 M, was a spent force thereafter and weakened in run to line.
6 LIGHTNING SPEED (CG263) B Prebble -- Broke with rest, showed enough dash to hold midfield spot 3Ls back, there until 400 M, couldn't find at business end running out of gas and simply plodded to line.
2 CRUSH ON YOU (CH065) M W Leung -- Began awkwardly, lost ground when checked shortly after the start, raced at rear 6Ls away towards outside, raced greenly and steadied at 400 M, had chance but didn't find much over concluding stages just plodding to line.
12 ZERO GRAVITY (CH037) S K Sit TT Well enough to jump, up towards midfield 3Ls back, hung throughout and raced ungenerously, under pressure passing 400 M, weakened out tamely in run to line.
3 GREAT HERO (CH016) C K Tong -- Even beginning, positioned towards middle 4Ls back, niggled along at midpoint, struggling at 400 M, found nothing when asked and gradually lost touch last 300 M.
