4 MERIDIAN PRIDE (CH057) G Mosse B Stumbled out but regathered and kicked through to race behind the leader, had run of race with even speed, only 1 to 2Ls down on turning, held up to 250 M, dashed smartly when clear to socre with something in hand.
6 FINGERS CROSSED (CG037) D Whyte -- Out with rest, restrained from a wide alley, made best of shortcut to race 4Ls back on rails, tracked eventual winner on bend, gained split at 300 M and closed nicely but unable to track down winner.
13 LUCKY DANSKE (CD364) P H Lo TT Fast into stride, took up running comfortably and rolled along at an even clip, held a 1L advantage leaving circle, kicked nicely into straight, overhauled at 300 M but stuck on gamely for a place.
2 ALL TIME HIGH (CG285) S K Sit XB/TT Amongst first to begin, took up a spot outside leader, raced 1L back at an even speed, drew level upon straightening, briefly threatened but run ended over concluding stages. Better effort.
12 OURAJA (CG214) B Prebble CP Away in line, pushed on to take close order, couldn't cross and posted 3 wide 3Ls back with cover, made bend awkwardly 2Ls down in 5th, came again in straight doing best work late for a respectable 5th.
8 OCEAN TRANQUIL (CE155) W M Lai PC-/V2 Began nicely, didn't have pace to cross and dragged back to settle near rear, raced 2 to 3 wide 7Ls back, still well back behind horses leaving bend, switched to middle and made many lengths to be nearest on line.
5 CLASSIC REUNION (CH166) F Coetzee SR Out well, ridden along to take closer order, raced prominently 2Ls back 2 to 3 wide, slotted in on circle, same margin back in 4th turning in, eased out but lacked usual close and produced a one paced effort last 200 M.
3 CRYSTAL (CE209) Y T Cheng B Taken back from outside alley, raced at tail 5Ls back much further away than usual, last throughout and tracked 3 wide on circle, switched to middle on straightening and made plenty of late ground from an impossible spot.
14 MASTER DREAMER (CE293) M W Leung B Moderate jump, ended up in rearward division 7Ls from speed, bumped rail at 800 M, still well back on fence on turning, made some progress along fence to 200 M before run ended.
11 MAGIC CHARIOT (CH094) D Nikolic SR Awkwardly away and lost ground, settled behind midfield 6Ls back on rails, had a soft run throughout and saved ground on bend, not far back on turning but run ended at 200 M and faded thereafter.
1 INDUSTRIAL EXPRESS (CH103) A Delpech -- Standard jump, raced 2 wide 5Ls back in midfield, not harmed by tempo, still back between horses on circle, found little in straight just plugging away at same speed to line.
7 LIFELINE RAPIDE (CD204) M Nunes TT Ordinary to begin, drove through to take a closer position, posted 3 wide 5 to 6Ls back in midfield with cover, switched 4 wide on bend, under pressure on turning and only battled in straight.
9 CAGA BOY (CG060) C K Tong -- Away with rest, raced in a handy position 3 to 4Ls back in 5th in 2 wide line, had a fair run to bend, niggled along on turning, gave ground weakly in run to line.
10 BUCCANEER (CH214) K T Yeung -- Promising jump but drifted back to midfield posted 4 wide throughout 5Ls back, came 5 wide on turning in, hard run took toll shortly after and gradually dropped out to be well beaten.
