6 HIGH POINT (CH215) S K Sit -- Standard jump, ridden hard from a wide alley to press on and cross to 1 out 1 back spot, had a good run thereafter, into clear on turning, ran to them easily and went on for a deserved victory.
11 DASHING THUNDER (CD080) Y T Cheng -- Bumped early and ended up amongst last few 12Ls off pace, saved ground on fence, helped by solid tempo on circle, made many lengths along fence to take 2nd late. Promising return.
4 ENTHUSED (CH303) D Whyte -- Began well, slotted in to running line 3Ls back, had a dream run trailing eventual winner on circle, didn't dash but kept grinding away strongly for a placing. Useful debut.
9 RICH DRAGON (CG079) G Mosse V1 Even jump, held a position behind midfield 8Ls back on rails, and led 2 wide on circle, switched to centre in straight and did best work late to make frame.
7 GRAND STORE (CH087) F Coetzee -- OK to begin, took a midfield berth 6Ls from front runners, had a quiet time in mid-section, kept to fence until 300 M, closed off well before run closed at 100 M, nearest on line.
5 PROFITING CHAMPION (CH123) B Prebble -- Awkward to begin, crowded at 800 M losing spot and ended up 5 to 6Ls back in running line, same margin back on turning, switched out and steadily closed down middle before run ended late.
8 AMAZING ME (CH080) G Boss XB/TT Fair break, outpaced early and raced behind midfield 8 to 9Ls back 2 wide, niggled along on circle, still well back turning in, picked up bit at 300 M and closed nicely making some late progress.
3 INDUSTRIAL SUCCESS (CC317) C W Wong -- Outpaced early and drifted back to settle amongst rearward few, raced 10Ls back in mid-section, helped by pace on circle, gave a big start but warmed up last 250 M closing race off nicely.
1 JOLLY GOOD FORTUNE (CD274) S Dye B Fast into stride, worked hard to cross to lead, pressured throughout but held inside narrowly, under siege on bend weakened last 200 M when workload took toll.
13 FORTE (CB351) W M Lai CP Amongst first few to break, challenged for front and held a slender advantage racing wide, kept pace on round circle, lead until 300 M but found nothing thereafter and dropped out tamely, hung badly. (Lame.)
2 MIRACLE FORTUNE (CH292) M W Leung -- Lost ground on jumping, regathered to race at rear 12 or more lengths from pace, struggling to make progress running 3 wide on circle, passed a few tired runners late.
14 SUPREMACY (CD315) K L Chui B Out with them, had early pace to take spot behind leaders 2Ls back, tracked solid speed throughout, struggling on turning in, gradually faded out in straight.
10 ROYAL DOMAIN (CH287) O Doleuze B1 Began in line, rushed forward but unable to take closer order, forced to come back in behind midfield 8Ls back 3 wide, urged along to improve on turning, couldn't find another gear and gradually weakened.
12 ASIAN CITRUS (CH246) M Nunes -- Average break, settled 3 wide 10Ls back amongst last few, niggled along on circle, still had plenty to do turning, unable to make an impact and beaten a long way.
