2 12 MULTI-WIN SPIRIT (CG137) D Whyte XB/TT Began fairly, ended up in midfield behind pace 3Ls back, tracked strongly on bend, angled out turning, went to them passing 200 M and held on until shadows of post.
3 5 SILVER WRAITH (CE178) C Soumillon B Tardy into stride, shared rear 6 to 7Ls away, had a quiet run on rails, kept to fence turning, progressed gradually to finish a closing 3rd without threatening.
4 9 GLOBAL WAY (CG158) A Delpech B/TT Out well, took a spot on leaders back, didn't have an easy time with reasonable sections, right there behind horses turning in, in clear from 300 M and made some minor headway to make frame.
5 7 PERFECT ATHLETE (CG276) D Beadman -- Didn't have pace of first few after jumping well and tucked in to 1 out 1 back spot, close enough to reasonable pace to do some work, right there turning but was one paced in run to line.
6 8 CENAMIRA (CD129) S K Sit B/TT Lacked speed as usual, took a spot near tail 6Ls off pace on rails aided by pace on, saved ground on circle, closed a little at 300 M but struggled thereafter just holding ground in run to line.
7 4 LIGHTNING MOUNT (CH082) K L Chui B/TT No real pace from jump, ended up in rear division 6Ls back in 2 wide line, helped by solid sections, made a 3 wide run turning in, didn't finish off and just battled last furlong.
8 2 GENERAL SPEEDEE (CG193) F Coetzee TT Out in line, didn't have pace to go on and ended up 3 to 4Ls back on fence, enjoyed a soft trip tracking solid pace, in behind horses turning but appeared flat when clear running presented.
9 6 SUPER (CD036) Y T Cheng SR/XB/TT Began with them, snagged back to race in midfield 4Ls back in running line, hung on bend, drifted to outside in straight, found little last 200 M against outside rail.
10 10 PLEASURE PLEASURE (CD271) S Dye B/TT Away well, overraced and pulled way to race outside leader, kept pace solid throughout, kept challenging on bend, soon struggling and just battled away in straight.
