7 8 GREEN BIRDIE (CH245) B Prebble -- Clipped heels early. Travelled on rails in rear of midfield of small 10-runner field. Found no room early in straight and could only make impression late.
8 10 DAO DAO (CH308) Z Purton -- Began only fairly but soon recovered to a prominent spot, racing keenly 2-wide within 2Ls of pace most of way to straight. Baulked early in straight. Found nothing inside final 200 M.
9 6 ABLE ONE (CG108) E Saint-Martin -- Began fairly. Soon picked up to prominent one-back position but 3-wide. Moved closer around home bend and still there early in straight. Faded under pressure passing 250 M.
10 9 MEINER SEGAL (CJ633) M Ebina SR Slightly sluggish at start. Raced wide in midfield far side before taking closing order approaching home bend. One-back 3-wide around home bend. Dropped out under pressure passing 300 M.
