2 GOOD BA BA (CE201) C Soumillon TT Not used early, settled towards the rear 6Ls behind leader and travelled sweetly to bend, cruised into the lead with 250 M to go and showed a fine change of pace to score his 10th victory over the mile with total authority.
7 FELLOWSHIP (CG292) Z Purton TT Began in line, travelled in a 3-wide spot behind midfield, had a smooth run to straight, made a bold bid for victory near 300 M, picked up well to post a career best performance but was firmly put into place by the classy winner.
1 VIVA PATACA (CG096) M Kinane H Held up patiently in the rear about 8Ls back and always had the eventual winner in sight, urged approaching home straight, couldn't match the winner's turn of foot but stayed on well for a minor placing.
3 EGYPTIAN RA (CE002) B Prebble TT Didn't lead as anticapted but was never far away from the pace, settled one out one back going into straight, briefly hit front inside 300 M but had a tendency to hang in forcing necessary correction by the jockey. Just held on for 4th.
8 SUNNY KING (CH105) J Victoire XB/H/TT Lost ground at start, soon taken to a midfield position on the rail 4Ls back, had a clear passage down the inside on straightening, ran another honest race without seriously threatening.
11 SIGHT WINNER (CJ049) G Mosse -- Always prominent behind leaders in early and middle stages, had no clear run early in straight, attempted a run down the inside but was steadied near 250 M, stayed on well after shifting out to obtain clear running.
4 GREEN BIRDIE (CH245) O Doleuze -- Slow into stride, assumed an unexpected forward position just behind leader, travelled well enough going into straight, quickened well to join the lead with 300 M to go but found no extra inside 200 M. Weakened thereafter.
10 JACKPOT DELIGHT (CJ101) M Du Plessis B Taken back to the rear on jumping, enjoyed a run on the fence and used little to bend, found himself behind a wall of horses to 200 M, but responded only fairly when cleared.
5 JOY AND FUN (CH014) H W Lai CP Began well, held back in search for cover but was unable to tuck in, raced keen down the back straight, found little when placed under pressure, dropped out inside 150 M.
9 EXCELLENT BOY (CE238) J Winks P Settled in mid-division 3 to 4Ls back, travelled 2-wide with cover, peeled out approaching home straight, unable to quicken and dropped out passing 150 M.
6 DOWN TOWN (CG054) Y T Cheng B1/TT- Quickly into stride, took up running on the fence at a steady pace, had an uncontested lead throughout, unable to keep on in straight, headed near 350 M and weakened rapidly inside 250 M.
12 BULLISH CASH (CH049) B Doyle TT Became detached from the field not long after the jump, didn't muster any speed and trailed the field throughout.
