3 9 INDUSTRIAL EXPRESS (CH103) C Soumillon -- Reasonable break, raced 3Ls back behind pace, had a fair trip travelling on solid speed, travelled well turning, produced a strong finish but outgunned by rivals final 100 M.
4 3 SPECIAL DRAGON (CH325) M Chadwick TT Began nicely, pressed on but unable to cross, raced outside leader 1/2L but, pace even in middle stages, took over on turning, held on to 150 M before collared, held on to make frame.
5 12 MINGS' HERO (CJ011) B Prebble SR/TT- Drifted back soon after start, settled 10Ls away in rearward division, helped by strong tempo, trailed 3 wide on bend, made even progress in straight to be nearest on line.
6 5 DASH AHEAD (CD199) G Mosse SR2 No early dash, raced 8Ls away early stages in 2 wide line, aided by solid pace in mid-section, kept coming in straight and whilst lacked dash of placegetters battled on evenly to line.
7 1 POWER DRIFTER (CJ332) K T Yeung B/TT Showed good pace from jump, held front but taken on for lead, set up a solid tempo in mid-section, shared lead on turning, soon headed but did keep on evenly over concluding stages given workload.
8 4 ROCKET WIN (CE249) J Victoire P/XB Slowly away, mustered to take a closer spot 2 to 3Ls back on fence, did share of work on speed, improved on leaders back rounding bend, aided extra gear final 300 M and just plugged away late.
9 7 DUMBARTON ROCK (CJ228) Z Purton TT Away evenly, pressed on to sit on back of pace 2Ls away, did share of work on solid pace, struggling on turning, didn't see out trip and gradually weakened in start.
10 10 LONDON EXPRESS (CH107) Y T Cheng CP Began with them, worked across but unable to slot in, posted 3 wide 5Ls away in midfield, did too much work in run, faded from turn and just plugged in straight.
11 6 EYE WITNESS (CG027) J Winks XB/TT No pace early, settled 2nd last 12Ls back, improved on to be 8Ls away at mid-point, kept to rails turning, lacked a response and gradually lost touch in straight.
12 8 BEAUTIFUL CHOICE (CH130) M L Yeung -- Showed pace, pressed on in search of front, posted 3 wide without cover on a decent speed, did too much work but still shared lead turning, weakened soon after and faded quickly.
