8 ROCKET POWER (CH136) M Chadwick B/TT No early speed, ended up in rear 6 to 7Ls away on rails, used little to bend, continued to improve turning, took run between horses and let down with a big sprint, surged to lead inside 100 M and went on to win easily.
13 BIG WINNER AGAIN (CJ170) K C Leung B/TT Fast away, pressed on to take top spot, did some work early, eventually took trail after continued pressure, soon challenged on straightening, lead and was clear to 150 M, couldn't match acceleration of winner late.
9 DANZULU (CJ069) B Prebble B Began with them, assumed role behind lead, had ideal run thereafter, shuffled 3 back fence on circle, improved soon after straightening, kept closing before run ended at 100 M. (Lame after race.)
14 GLORY OF INDIA (CK130) M W Leung B/TT Even getaway, didn't have much pace and raced 5 to 6Ls back on rails, shifted 2 wide on bend, urged along turning, picked up final 200 M making good progress to be in frame.
2 GRAND DANCER (CK268) D Whyte -- Began nicely, ridden up to hold a spot 3 wide in midfield with cover, raced 3 to 4Ls away throughout, looked to have plenty to offer on turning, peaked inside 200 M and just held ground thereafter.
3 LOCAL POWER (CH296) S K Sit -- Drifted back to race at rear 6 to 7Ls from leaders, coursed 3 wide with cover in mid-section, still with last few on turning, made many lengths down centre to be closest at finish.
6 HE CAN TANGO (CG288) R Fradd -- Little early speed, assumed spot 5Ls back in midfield, still back in pack on turning, worked home evenly down middle of course to be closest at finish.
1 BLUE SKY (CJ289) C K Tong PC/H Awkwardly away, regathered soon to race 3Ls back in running line, bit keen in mid-section, close enough turning but lacked usual finish and just battled away in straight.
7 FOREVER ELATION (CK215) Y T Cheng B Became in line, pressed on but caught 3 wide without cover, kept working 1 to 2Ls from speed off trail, niggled turning, hard run took toll and no extra gear final 300 M.
4 BUCCANEER (CH214) Z Purton -- Allowed to drift back from a wide gate, settled 7Ls or so away at rear, still back with last few with job to do turning, made only minor ground without looking likely.
11 DARPANA (CK256) T H So B/XB1/TT Amongst first few to break, positioned handily on back of speed, same margin down but first outside leader turning, didn't let down and soon steadily faded.
10 MERIDIAN PRIDE (CH057) M Du Plessis B/TT Jumped nicely, rolled forward to race outside leader early, continued to apply pressure, took up running on circle, headed shortly after turning but soon weakened out.
12 KING ACRYLIC (CG295) C W Wong B/TT Began with rest, posted 4 wide without cover early, used plenty still working wide on speed to bend, soon struggling on straightening, folded easily.
5 ENERGIZED (CK135) B Doyle SR1 No early speed, settled 5Ls away on fence, urged along on bend, found zero.
