9 9 GOOD FORTUNE (CK279) B Prebble H1/TT1 Taken back on jumping, 5Ls off the pace in a rearward position throughout, didn't handle the turn and swung wide into straight, no response when asked.
10 12 XAVERIAN QUEST (CJ345) K C Leung TT Jumped awkwardly from the wide barrier, went forward to be close up behind leaders, came under serious pressure making the home turn, weakened rapidly passing 250 M.
11 5 DARREN (CJ321) D Whyte TT2 Prominent placed behind leaders early but struggled to keep up halfway, soon beaten turning into straight. (Lame front leg.)
