6 BEAUTY FLASH (CK314) M Chadwick TT Out in line, urged up to take leaders back, no excuse in run, set out after leader when 2Ls down turning, went clear inside 200 M and just did enough to hold off late challenger.
1 ARMADA (CE246) C Williams V- Positive jump, ended up in 1 out 1 back spot, enjoyed a good run throughout, came around heels turning, made good ground and looked set to pick up winner but hung out late.
4 SUNNY KING (CH105) D Beadman XB-/H/TT- Drifted back from an awkward draw, 8Ls back in running line, came wide from 500 M, closed sharply final 300 M making remarkable ground for 3rd (inconvenienced late).
14 WHITE JADE (CK131) J Winks CP/XB/H Ended up in midfield 4 to 5Ls back in running line, used little in run, worked into clear turning, closed nicely to make frame (checked late).
3 TUSCAN SPIRIT (CK055) D Whyte -- Worked from widest alley to sit outside leader, used a bit with decent speed on, 2Ls down on turning, kept on to 200 M but peaked on effort thereafter.
2 EXPRESS WIN (CJ042) K C Leung TT No early pace, ended up back with last few 10Ls or so from speed, gave a big start on bend, made many lengths to be nearest on line.
11 KINGS FALCON (CJ185) W C Marwing XB/H Reasonable break, ideally placed 3 to 4Ls off pace on rails, travelled well to bend, looked a brief place chance but just held ground last 200 M.
10 GALLANT LION (CG243) K Fallon H Moderate beginning, ended up just behind midfield 6Ls from pace, had an easy trip on rails throughout, had chance in straight but just stuck on at one speed.
8 OUR LUCKY BABY (CH187) B Prebble CP/TT Taken back to find cover, ended up worse than midfield 3 wide 7Ls or so from speed, did work throughout and didn't settle, unable to close. (See Racing Incidents regarding riding.)
9 SUNNY POWER (CG203) G Mosse -- Restrained to be nearer to rails, ended up sharing tail best part of 10Ls from top end, set plenty to do well back to bend, made only moderate ground.
12 DYNAMIC BLITZ (CJ339) J Victoire XB Fast out, took lead easily and rolled along at decent sections, 1 to 2Ls clear turning, overtaken inside 300 M and steadily gave ground.
13 FLEET COMMAND (CK077) J Lloyd B Out in line, inconvenienced on settling and as a consequence was posted wide without cover, keen throughout 4 to 5Ls back, didn't finish off after a hard run.
7 KILDARE (CJ198) Z Purton SR/TT Lacked early speed, checked at 1000 M, 7 to 8Ls away on rails throughout, saved ground on turning, didn't find much and was unable to see out trip final 300 M.
5 YELLOW DIAMOND (CD246) O Doleuze B Average beginning, soon in rear division, 9Ls back on rails, not asked throughout, didn't find at business end, not a factor.
