5 2 MASTER GUNNER (CJ142) K C Leung SR/XB Drifted back despite an inside alley to settle behind midfield, 4-5ls back on rails throughout, angled into clear turning and produced usual honest close to be not far away.
6 6 PROJECT RUNWAY (L302) Z Purton B Reasonable getaway, settled in 5th racing 2 wide 3Ls back, all favours in run, place chance at 300m but couldn't lift final furlong. Even effort.
7 7 FOREST STAR (CJ167) M Chadwick TT Taken back from outside alley, raced amongst last few 8 to 9Ls back, still plenty to do turning in, made many lengths down outside to be nearest on line.
8 4 EIGHT PLUS NINE (CH259) O Doleuze B Began well, assumed nice position on leaders back, travelled well throughout, inside run turning, struggled to find extra final 200m and faded final 100m.
9 13 SPECTACULAR AWARD (CK364) M Du Plessis B Positioned nicely not far off pace 3ls back on rails, quiet run throughout, didn’t quicken at business end and tired inside 200m.

12 5 BLESSING (CJ337) J Lloyd B-/XB2 No early speed as usual and settled at rear, best part of 12Ls back in mid section, not travelling and slightly eased before making minor ground late (jockey reported didn’t stride out).
13 3 IRON FIST (CH143) W C Marwing B1/TT Amongst first few to break, took a positive spot 1 out 1 back, all favors in run, found nothing on turning and weakened out tamely.
