4 3 HAPPY MASTER (CE050) O Doleuze CP Stalked the leader along the paint. Had every chance but couldn’t really quicken over the final 300m.

7 12 MIGHTY FEELING (L025) J Lloyd SR/TT Raced outside the leader during the middle stages before being crossed at racing 1 out 1 back after the 700m. Cornered five wide and showed no kick in the straight.
8 11 MACASSAR (L382) Y T Cheng SR-/B Travelled worse than midfield the fence. Attempted to improve and shifted away from the rail after the 700m. Was steadied when crowded near the 100m, but was spent force prior to that point.
9 1 SUNSEEKER (L161) P Strydom B2/TT Coursed wide in the early and middle stages whilst pursuing a prominent position. Eventually crossed and raced as joint leader passing the 800m. Was gassed in the straight.
10 8 CLASSIC ENERGY (CJ143) Z Purton H Settled in 2nd last position, 1 off with cover. Kept to the inside in the final stretch but just plugged away not making any ground.
11 7 EAST OCEAN (CK340) B Prebble TT1 From a wide alley was taken back after being bumped, settling at the rear. Was under pressure a long way out and failed to make any impression.
12 10 SUPER THUNDER (M078) M Du Plessis TT Travelled 2 wide with cover for most of the trip behind midfield. Peeled 3 wide after the 700m, lost cover on the circle and struggled in the run home.
