3 1 KEEN WONGCHOY (L223) B Prebble B/H/TT Settled next to last 7ls back racing 2 wide, aided by tempo, still well back turning, produced solid final 400m making many lengths and closing hard late to just miss 2nd.
4 13 DYNAMIC VOYAGE (P066) R Fourie SR Standard break drifted back and lost spot approaching first bend, 6ls or so away in middle stages, made run through field final 400m making many le3ngths to just miss a place.
5 3 WINNIE'S HORSE (P169) G Mosse TT Pressed on and raced 3 wide just off lead, had some cover 2-3ls back on circle, set out after leader and kept coming in straight, headed 200m but kept on creditably without looking to threaten.
6 7 SUPER JOCKEY (P195) T Angland -- Restrained from a wide gate and taken down to rails, enjoyed a quiet trip 5ls back on fence, saved ground turning, held up at 300m, closed nicely when clear.
7 10 ATACX (N448) C Y Lui TT Away with rest, raced just off pace 3ls away in 1 out 1 back slot, no real excuses to turn, clear from 300m but just stayed on at one speed, held ground nevertheless.
8 4 BIG FOUR (P102) O Doleuze H/TT Restrained from an outside alley, raced 3 wide at rear 7ls or so away with cover, set a task still last turning, made good progress down middle of the course to be closest at finish.
9 5 THE PRINCE (L241) M Chadwick B/TT Showed customary speed to take lead, set good tempo throughout, kicked 3ls clear at 400m, came back to them quickly inside 200m and faded out of contention inside 100m when workload took effect.
10 9 FIGHTER CLASS (P196) D Whyte -- Positioned midfield 2-3 wide with cover, 4ls or so back to bend, made a brief effort turning but peaked at 200m when condition gave out and didn't feature thereafter.
11 14 HEARTS KEEPER (N360) T H So B Trapped wide from outset when pressing on in search of positive position, kept working throughout 3 wide without cover, soon struggling turning and folded final 300m.
12 12 MERIDIAN TREASURE (N084) K C Ng B Showed good early speed, took spot behind leader but did share of work with some mid race pressure, niggled turning, didn't respond and faded right out in straight.
13 6 SUPER CAGA (CK054) A Suborics B Ended up in midfield, trapped 4 wide without cover, always working 4-5ls back in run. Gradually weakened out in straight when workload too effect.
14 11 EASY SUCCESS (P170) T Berry TT Took a spot on rails in midfield, 4ls or so off lead, fair run to turn, didn't pick up from 300m and was beaten a fair way.
