3 5 ABSOLUTE HONOUR (K260) Z Purton -- Away in line , stayed close to leaders throughout, worked into the race well, moved up and vied for lead passing 300M, couldn't keep up with first two late but held 3rd comfortably
4 11 KYRUS TREASURE (K300) M F Poon B- Jumped nicely from draw 3, allowed to find his feet early stages and settled down in midfield, stayed on mildly final 400M to claim 4th near line without threatening top three.
5 1 PACKING FIGHTER (L112) A Atzeni SR-/XB2/TT- From draw 14 went forward, in 3rd spot going into home turn, briefly in front 350M but couldn't hold off the first 3 finishers mid-straight, no extra late under top weight and lost 4th near line.
6 12 KINGLY DEMEANOR (H486) M L Yeung TT Chased leader after jumping from draw 13, briefly led early straight but soon couldn't keep up with pursuing rivals, faded to finish 6th.
7 3 FLUORESCENCE (L124) M Chadwick B2/TT Settled ahead of midfield, had difficulty obtaining clear running 300M but the finishing response was only fair after. (Trainer - Instructed jockey to take up a forward position on the Yielding track.)
8 8 GRAND TURBO (L138) E Brown TT From draw 1 given a patient ride in a rearward spot, had some work to do top of the straight, lacked a turn of foot and couldn't launch a serious challenge.
9 10 STAR BROSE (J463) B Avdulla CP/TT Switched off to race at the rear of the field over 10Ls back middle stages, steadied 300M when commencing to finish off the race, had to change lane but the final effort was just fair.
10 13 FORTUNE KINGO (K457) H T Mo B Did not show sufficient pace early stages to hold a more forward position as intended, made a wide move from the rear at middle of the turn before closing off fairly in the straight.
11 4 VERMILION TEMPEST (L093) J Moreira TT Under pressure to hold a position behind midfield, didn't respond turning for home. (Jockey - failed to travel throughout and was not comfortable on the Yielding track. / No Vet findings.)
12 9 STAR ELEGANCE (K536) H Y Yuen B/TT1 Emerged as leader passing 1600M, set a good pace to 800M, found little on straightening, soon headed and drifted out of contention.
