8 10 NEVER TOO SOON (E434) K De Melo -- Taken back from wide draw, settled near last 7Ls off the pace, ran on mildly when asked, steadied passing 100M and not ridden out to the line.
9 9 GRATEFUL HEART (D278) H Bentley B/TT Switched off to race at the rear, 8Ls off leader on settling, had to make up a lot of ground at the 400M but ran past beaten horses only.
10 12 BEAUTY GLORY (E459) Y L Chung CP/H/TT Maintained position just off the lead, 4th at 600M, failed to pick up under pressure ,checked after 200M but was already beaten then.
11 4 MAGNIAC (H141) K H Chan V/TT From draw 10 worked through to sit just off the pace, there to pounce 300M but failed to get into the finish.
12 8 PLEASANT ENDEAVOR (E114) E C W Wong B From draw 11 caught racing wide without cover in mid-division, dragged further back making the home turn, not able to finish the race off on straightening.
