2 1 JUNEAU PRIDE (J443) B Avdulla -- Jumped on terms, chased leader on inside, worked into the race well 300M, quickened past leader inside 150M, tried hard late stages but was claimed by winner last stride.
3 5 ETALON OR (J273) A Badel B Jumped awkwardly, settled in second half of the field, held up for clear running making the home turn before closing off nicely over final 300M to claim 3rd, nearest finish.
4 3 CIRCUIT JOLLY (J506) Z Purton -- Soon led, travelled nicely into straight, kept on well until 170M when jumping a mark on the track, lost momentum and headed by first 3. (Jockey : might be better suited with the addition of blinkers and racing at Happy Valley.)
5 8 PATCH OF STARS (J343) M Chadwick TT1 Jumped on terms, ended up racing 3-wide behind mid-division, gave good response early straight and got up for 4th mid-straight, peaked on its run final 150M.
6 2 BEAR CHAMP (J313) A Atzeni H1 Jumped only fairly, soon guided to the inside before improving to race in midfield, held up 450M-300M then closed off moderately for a non-threatening 6th.
7 4 DRAGON SUNRISE (J269) L Hewitson -- Not hurried early stages, switched off to race towards the rear, held up on inside making home turn before closing off mildly in the straight. No serious threat to leaders.
8 14 CASHISCASH (J369) C L Chau XB-/TT Jumped fairly and then was crowded by a rival, raced keenly amongst horses, close enough turning in but ran home one paced.
9 11 SONIC PURSUIT (K051) C Y Ho TT1 Jumped awkwardly, taken back to last from draw 14, over-raced middle stages, last turning in, ran past beaten horses only.
10 10 SOMELOVEFROMABOVE (J503) H Bowman XB1 Away well enough, settled ahead of midfield along the 3-path, ran on fairly when placed under pressure. Never likely.
11 7 LUCKY BLESSING (K073) P N Wong -- From draw 1 stayed close to leaders early stages, shuffled back to midfield home turn, couldn't finish off on straightening.
12 13 NORTHERN FIRE BALL (J488) H Bentley H Jumped only fairly, over-raced early stages, in 2nd half of the field making the turn for home, couldn't quicken enough on straightening.
