1 1 BLAZING WUKONG (K335) Jumped awkwardly. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 2 ROBOT STAR (K559) Shifted in at the start and was bumped. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 13 DASHING MAURISON (K374) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Lay in under pressure in the Home Straight.
4 12 ACE (K307) Between the 450 Metres and the 350 Metres was held up for clear running. M Guyon reported that he was instructed to settle where comfortable. He said after his mount jumped well and under its light weight of 119 lbs he was able to hold an on-pace position.
5 4 THE LION KING (K265) No report.
6 3 THE GOLDEN KNIGHT (K341) Crowded on jumping between SMART FAT CAT and ROBOT STAR, both of which shifted ground. Was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.
7 5 AMAZING AWARD (J236) Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of ROBOT STAR.
8 8 GLORIASTAR (K439) Between the 400 Meres and the 250 Metres was held up for clear running. L Ferraris stated that he was asked to ride the horse in a more conservative manner in the early stages with blinkers being removed as GLORIASTAR finished its recent races off only fairly when being asked to go forward. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 7 SMART FAT CAT (K280) Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when racing in restricted room between GLORIASTAR and AMAZING AWARD. J McDonald stated that his mount jumped well today and settled in a more slightly forward position than its previous race starts. He said in the Home Straight SMART FAT CAT finished the race off only fairly.
10 9 FORTUNE KINGO (K457) Shifted in at the start and was bumped.
11 14 YOUNG HORIZON (G272) Jumped awkwardly. In the early stages raced ungenerously and got its head up. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have blood in its mouth and also to be a "roarer”.
12 10 FRANTANCK (H429) Blundered badly on jumping, became unbalanced and lost ground. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
13 11 SPLENDID FORCE (K120) On jumping was crowded by FORTUNE KINGO which shifted in.
14 6 PING HAI COMET (H344) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
