2 2 HOT DELIGHT (K583) Raced wide and without cover from the 900 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 11 DROMBEG BANNER (H117) Whilst the Stewards were satisfied that the riding of Apprentice H Y Yuen, 3rd placegetter, over the concluding stages did not affect the horse’s finishing position, she was nonetheless reminded of her obligation to ensure that she fully rides her mounts out to the finish of the race.
4 9 INFINITE RESOLVE (K369) Was unable to improve its position after passing the 400 Metres when held up for clear running before shifting out several horses near the 250 Metres to do so.
5 10 REGAL GEM (K258) No report.
6 3 CHILL EASY (L148) Was unable to improve its position from the 400 Metres when held up for clear running until near the 200 Metres.
7 4 TOP DRAGON (J481) Bumped on several occasions between EMBLAZON and BEAUTY BOLT after the start. Raced keenly in the middle stages when being restrained off the heels of BEAUTY BOLT. After passing the 300 Metres was disappointed for clear running between HOT DELIGHT and REGAL GEM and as a result was held up for a short distance.
8 12 PUBLIC ATTENTION (L035) A Badel could not offer any excuse for the horse’s performance today.
9 6 BEAUTY BOLT (K491) Bumped with TOP DRAGON on several occasions after the start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 5 VICTORY SKY (J540) Near the 100 Metres was steadied to avoid the heels of CHILL EASY (C L Chau) which shifted out under pressure. C L Chau was advised to exercise more care when allowing his mounts to shift ground. M F Poon reported that his mount felt uncomfortable in its action during the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 8 BRAVEFIELD (L513) Crowded after the start. Near the 800 Metres got unbalanced and lost ground when racing in restricted room to the inside of EMBLAZON.
12 7 EMBLAZON (K122) Crowded for room after being bumped between BRAVEFIELD which was taken out by PUBLIC ATTENTION and TOP DRAGON which was taken in by BEAUTY BOLT.
