Racing Incident Report

Before the race, heavy rain fell and the race was then run in light rain, immediately following the running the track was re-classified to soft. CARRY-ON DREAMBOAT missed the start slightly and was then bumped by OWNERS' GLORY which was taken in slightly by PERFECT CHAMPION. On leaving the gates, HEALTHY STAR and HOLLYWOOD STAR came together. For some distance just after jumping, HOLLYWOOD STAR, as it was being restrained to a rearward position, threw its head about. For a short distance in the early stages, MEGA-FIGHTER was awkward on the hindquarters of CHAMPION BOMB. When weakening rounding the Home Turn, CHAMPION BOMB hung out badly and near the 400 Metres was awkward on the heels of SPEEDY RUNNER. Rounding the Home Turn and in the Straight, LUCKY SUPREME hung in badly, then when weakening out of the race was not ridden right out. FIVE STARS SHINING was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
