Racing Incident Report

ELITE PATCH, which was slow to begin, stumbled on jumping.
RED DESERT shifted out at the start and bumped MR LUMIERES. RED DESERT then became unbalanced after making contact with HONG KONG WIN.
REFINED TREASURE began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped COMPUTER PATCH.
Passing the 800 Metres, SHINING ACE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of RED DESERT.
Approaching the 200 Metres, SHINING ACE momentarily raced in restricted room between SAUL’S SPECIAL and RED DESERT, both of which were giving ground.
After the race, Z Purton was not able to offer any explanation for the disappointing performance of STRONGER. He said after travelling satisfactorily, the horse did not finish off the race as it did when successful at its last start at Happy Valley. A veterinary inspection of STRONGER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of SAUL’S SPECIAL and REFINED TREASURE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
DUKE WAI, COMPUTER PATCH and HONG KONG WIN were sent for sampling.
