Racing Incident Report

ROYAL PRIDE was slow to begin.
TOTAL POWER jumped only fairly and then was crowded by SUNNY STAR which blundered and shifted in at the start.
From a wide barrier, SETANTA was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
For some distance approaching the 1000 Metres, LIGHTNING BOLT raced tight to the inside of YOU’REMYEVERYTHING.
Near the 850 Metres, YOU’REMYEVERYTHING was taken wider by CAPTAIN WIN which shifted out. When shifting back in, YOU’REMYEVERYTHING then crowded LIGHTNING BOLT for some distance after LIGHTNING BOLT improved to the inside of YOU’REMYEVERYTHING.
Near the 150 Metres, SETANTA was momentarily crowded between YOU’REMYEVERYTHING and TOTAL POWER, both of which shifted ground slightly.
After the race, B Avdulla (E LEGEND) stated that when MASSIVE ACTION showed intent to lead, he elected to take a trailing position behind that runner. He said, in his opinion, E LEGEND will now be better suited racing over 1600 Metres. A veterinary inspection of E LEGEND immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

SUPERB BOY and MASSIVE ACTION were sent for sampling.
<20/9/2023 17 September 2023 Sha Tin Racemeeting – Race 10 (28)> The Veterinary Surgeon reported that TOTAL POWER was lame in its right hind leg on the day after racing. Before being allowed to race again, TOTAL POWER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
