Racing Incident Report

On jumping, FANTUZZI and CELEBRATION bumped. At the start, WIN PRACTITIONER was bumped by EVER BRIGHT. In the Straight, LE ROSSIGNOL and EYE WITNESS hung out. B Prebble (MILLENNIUM SPIRIT) said he was unable to obtain the position with cover and as a consequence his mount travelled wide throughout. He said he was reluctant to press forward and lead on MILLENNIUM SPIRIT as this was against the horse's pattern of racing. He said rounding the Home Turn he commenced to ride MILLENNIUM SPIRIT along, however, the horse had nothing more to offer and on straightening drifted wider on the track. EVER BRIGHT and CRUSADER OF GOLD were sent for sampling.
