Racing Incident Report

PENNY LANE began awkwardly.
DREAM PARTNER was taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
From a wide barrier, GOLDMEN Y Y was taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, DREAM PARTNER was steadied away from the heels of YUAN’S FORTUNE.
Making the turn near the 600 Metres, NICKU got its head on the side and lay in.
YUAN’S FORTUNE was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight and after the 300 Metres was shifted to the inside of BURGUNDY MAC when disappointed for running between that horse and NICKU which was giving ground.
Passing the 250 Metres, PENNY LANE was steadied away from the heels of NICKU which shifted out slightly.
Passing the 100 Metres, DREAM PARTNER (M L Yeung) was checked away from the heels of the tiring NICKU. M L Yeung was advised to exercise more care.
A veterinary inspection of NICKU and YUAN’S FORTUNE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
STEP HIGH and BILLION GAINS were sent for sampling.
