8 10 SUNNY Q (J223) Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Raced keenly in the middle stages and near the 250 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the inside of CLUB ACE.

10 3 MULTISUPER (G416) Lowered its head as the start was effected and as a result was slow to begin. Near the 200 Metres was eased to avoid MACANESE MASTER which shifted out slightly.
11 11 SHINY RAPIDASH (J492) Fractious in the barriers. Jumped awkwardly. Noted to have lost its right front plate after the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 4 DO YOUR PART (J444) Shortly after the start made contact with SUMMIT CHEERS due to both runners shifting ground. After the event, A Pouchin stated that from barrier 3 he elected to shift to the inside rail to ensure his mount was able to travel comfortably away from other runners. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
13 8 BEAUTY FORMULA (K066) Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
14 1 SUMMIT CHEERS (E221) Shortly after the start made contact with DO YOUR PART due to both runners shifting ground. In the early stages was taken in towards the inside rail when positioned to the inside of DO YOUR PART. After the event, Apprentice P N Wong stated that in the middle stages she considered shifting her mount out to join the main body of the field, but when SUMMIT CHEERS was not travelling well enough she remained racing in the middle of the track to prevent SUMMIT CHEERS covering additional ground. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
