Racing Incident Report

ORIONIDS began awkwardly.
HORSE SUPREMO began awkwardly and shortly after the start was immediately shifted across behind runners.
HELEN’S CHOICE and MONEY MONEY bumped at the start. Then a short distance after the start, HELEN’S CHOICE raced tight inside MONEY MONEY.
Making the turn near the 700 Metres, GRADE ONE momentarily raced tight inside the heels of PEACE COMBINATION.
Throughout the race, FORZA AVANTI travelled wide and without cover and after the 700 Metres got its head on the side and lay out.
Passing the 200 Metres, N Callan (GENEROUS BOBO) dropped his whip.
Mr A T Millard, the trainer of HORSE SUPREMO, stated that as the horse had an embargo placed upon it at its last start for hanging in, he advised H W Lai, the rider of HORSE SUPREMO, to ensure that he obtained cover in order to assist it in making the turns.
After the race, J Moreira stated that HELEN’S CHOICE did not travel comfortably at any stage of the race and he was required to ride the horse along throughout in an endeavour to have it maintain its position as close to the main body of the field as possible. A veterinary inspection of HELEN’S CHOICE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

ORIONIDS, FORZA AVANTI and ART OF SUCCESS were sent for sampling.
