Racing Incident Report

COVER BOY was crowded for room at the start between SPEEDY TYCOON and TREASURE GLITTER which was taken out by HUA SHI which in turn was taken out by WINFINDER. Approaching the 1000 Metres, KIMBERLEY was steadied away from the heels of HUA SHI. Making the turn passing the 850 Metres, DANESOUTH became unbalanced after shifting out and bumping the hindquarters of MEGA CASTLE. Rounding the Home Turn, COVER BOY was awkwardly placed between KING GALILEO and ICE FIRE. Throughout the race, SPEEDY TYCOON travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of KIMBERLEY after the race revealed that the horse was lame in the right front leg and an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Before being allowed to race again, KIMBERLEY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of COVER BOY after the race did not show any significant findings. KIMBERLEY, TREASURE GLITTER and HUA SHI were sent for sampling.
