4 7 VIVA GRACIOUSNESS (J079) Near the 1500 Metres got its head up when being steadied to avoid MAX QUE when that runner shifted out when being eased away from CHILL KAKA.
5 1 THE BOOM BOX (K076) Near the 1400 Metres was steadied when crowded by VIVA GRACIOUSNESS which shifted in when racing ungenerously and then was unable to relieve the crowding to THE BOOM BOX when racing tight to the inside of KEEFY.

9 2 KEEFY (G306) From the 800 Metres commenced a forward move and raced wide and without cover thereafter.
10 4 A AMERIC TE SPECSO (H037) Jumped only fairly. Near the 1300 Metres was checked when it improved behind RISING FROM ASHES when racing keenly. A Atzeni reported that his mount raced keenly throughout the early and middle stages and in the Home Straight found it difficult to make up ground due to the early and middle stages of the event being run outside of standard time. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 5 ANODE (K367) No report.
12 12 RISING FROM ASHES (G209) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer’ which had previously been reported.
