Racing Incident Report

ELEPHANT MAGIC bounded in the air at the start and lost ground. From a wide barrier, XI YING MEN was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Shortly after the start, LOADS OF JOY was crowded for room between FATBOY SUGAR and HAPPY INDEX which shifted out. Near the 1100 Metres, ELEPHANT MAGIC was momentarily steadied away from the heels of NICE FOLKS (W M Lai) which shifted in when not properly clear. W M Lai was advised to exercise care. After the 1000 Metres, PALEPALE commenced to over-race when attempting to be shifted in behind GREEN ZONE. PALEPALE then continued to race fiercely for some distance. FATBOY SUGAR, which was following, also commenced to over-race and was awkwardly placed close to the heels of PALEPALE. Approaching the 600 Metres, FATBOY SUGAR got its head on the side and shifted out towards COSTA DEL SOL. For the majority of the race, COSTA DEL SOL travelled wide and without cover. HAPPY INDEX and COSTA DEL SOL were sent for sampling.
