Racing Incident Report

C Williams (DOUBLE HAPPINESS) was fined $2,000 for being late to the Parade Ring. SWEET SMILE began awkwardly, then in the early stages proved very difficult to settle. OPERATION HUMOUR and PRIME VAIN were slow to begin. Shortly after the start, S Drowne, the rider of GOOD FRIENDS, was hit in the head by the head of CENDAMY which after beginning awkwardly got its head up and shifted out. In the early stages, CENDAMY proved very difficult to settle. Near the 800 Metres, MADE IN HONGKONG, which was proving difficult to settle, was steadied away from the heels of GOOD FRIENDS. On straightening, BRAVE KNIGHT was steadied and shifted in when disappointed for running between CENDAMY and DESERT STRIKE which shifted out. After this, DESERT STRIKE hung out, near the 300 Metres shifted ground and bumped CENDAMY and then continued to prove difficult to ride. STRONG SUN was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. A veterinary examination of STRONG SUN after the race did not show any significant findings. CIRCUIT KINGDOM and MARANELLO were sent for sampling.
