Racing Incident Report

From wide barriers, NIGHTLIGN, CRAIG’S DRAGON and EXPRESS WIN were taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Passing the 300 Metres, DYNAMIC BLITZ was steadied when disappointed for running between AMIGO and PRIME CHAMPION. In the early part of the Straight, FORTUNE RED PEPPER was awkwardly placed close to the heels of ULTRA FANTASY which was giving ground. After the 200 Metres, FORTUNE RED PEPPER got its head on the side and lay in. Throughout the race, both NORMAN INVADER and PRIME CHAMPION travelled wide and without cover. After the race, H W Lai reported that ULTRA FANTASY was not comfortable on today’s racing surface. A veterinary inspection of ULTRA FANTASY after the race did not show any significant findings. DIM SUM and SWEET SANETTE were sent for sampling.
