Racing Incident Report

Pla. Horse No. Horse Incident
1 RAGING BLIZZARD (H368) Sent for sampling post-race.
7 KA YING ATTACK (J391) Trainer D J Hall confirmed the instructions were to go forward today. He said at its last start on 11 October 2026 he had made the decision to ride the horse in a conservative manner on that occasion as he anticipated fast early pace during the event. Sent for sampling post-race.
4 CRIMSON FLASH (K173) No report.
8 AERIS NOVA (J534) Near the 200 Metres was eased and shifted to the outside of CRIMSON FLASH to continue into clear running.
3 COPARTNER PRANCE (H408) When questioned M L Yeung stated that his instructions were to go forward and lead if possible. He said after commencing well he rode his mount forward as instructed. He said approaching the 1000 Metres when joined in the lead by KA YING ATTACK his mount then did not appreciate racing to the inside of that horse and came under pressure when it shifted in and away from KA YING ATTACK. He added that, in his view, COPARTNER PRANCE races best when able to dictate in the lead. When questioned if there was an opportunity to apply more pressure to his mount to contest the lead Jockey Yeung stated that he was of the opinion his mount was travelling at its top when challenged by KA YING ATTACK and it would not have been able to show sufficient pace to maintain the lead.
9 SING DRAGON (J141) Passing the 900 Metres was steadied when momentarily crowded by COPARTNER PRANCE (M L Yeung) which shifted in before being corrected. M L Yeung was advised to exercise more care.
2 COLOURFUL KING (K227) Between the 350 Metres and the 250 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.
6 TOMODACHI KOKOROE (H303) H Bentley stated that his mount was disadvantaged by having to race very wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
5 BEAUTY WAVES (H294) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
