Racing Incident Report

LOYAL DEVOTION jumped awkwardly. About the 600 Metres, LOYAL DEVOTION brushed with TENACITY, then got its head up, hung out onto the hindquarters of MERRY MERRY and lost its position. The occurrence in the opinion of the Stewards was accidental. S Dye (COMPANION) said about 100 Metres out the horse became unbalanced and dipped. Because of this he put the whip away and rode it hands and heels to the line. TENACITY was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
