Racing Incident Report

1 10 PERFECT GENERAL (J417) On jumping made contact with REFUSETOBEENGLISH due to both runners shifting ground. After travelling a short distance became unbalanced when it made contact with PRESTIGE SUPERIOR which shifted in slightly. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 12 MY DAY MY WAY (J519) Sent for sampling post-race.
3 9 REFUSETOBEENGLISH (K362) Jumped only fairly and then made contact with PERFECT GENERAL due to both runners shifting ground.
4 11 SPIRIT OF PEACE (K007) Briefly held up for clear running making the Home Turn before shifting to the outside of SPICY GOLD entering the Home Straight. Near the 150 Metres M Chadwick dropped his whip.
5 4 STORMING DRAGON (J237) No report.
6 3 WINGS OF WAR (H162) No report.
7 8 FORZA LEADER (L034) Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
8 6 CHARMING BABE (J513) Shortly after the start raced ungenerously when being steadied to attempt to obtain cover. When unable to obtain cover CHARMING BABE raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
9 1 TRIUMPHANT MORE (J489) C L Chau stated that the instructions were to hold an on-pace position. He said when TRIUMPHANT MORE did not show sufficient pace in the early stages to comply with those instructions he then elected to steady his mount to obtain cover behind CHARMING BABE to avoid racing wide and without cover, which resulted in his mount racing ungenerously for some distance near the 900 Metres. He added in the Home Straight TRIUMPHANT MORE finished the race off fairly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 2 SPICY GOLD (H440) A Badel stated that he was obliged to make some use of the horse in the early stages to take up a position with cover behind the leaders. He said in the Home Straight SPICY GOLD did not respond strongly to his riding and raced in a disappointing manner. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 5 LEAPING STAR (L189) Jumped only fairly.
12 7 PRESTIGE SUPERIOR (K383) Shifted in shortly after the start and made contact with PERFECT GENERAL.
