Racing Incident Report

MEGA-FIGHTER left the gates awkwardly. On jumping, ZINEDINE and GOLDEN FARM came together. Rounding the Home Turn, ARROWMINT was awkwardly placed on the heels of D'OR WIN. In the early part of the Straight, AMERICAN WIN was shifted out from behind ZINEDINE to find running and go forward. After the 200 Metres, D'OR WIN, which was giving ground, got its head up and lay in onto the hindquarters of AMERICAN WIN which was shifting out slightly. As a consequence of this, D'OR WIN became unbalanced and was checked, but because of all the circumstances, the Stewards decided no action should be taken. In the run to the winning post, HANDSOME MAN (Apprentice S K Sit) shifted in, as a consequence of this, ARROWMINT was crowded onto AMERICAN WIN, was checked and shifted out abruptly. Apprentice S K Sit was told in similar circumstances he must stop riding and straighten. GOLDEN FARM was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
