Racing Incident Report

From wide barriers, AMAZING JOURNEY and TELECOM GOGO were taken across behind runners shortly after the start. Shortly after the start, MARK GOOD, which was being steadied, got its head up and proved difficult to settle. Near the 1600 Metres, REAL GENERAL and SCENT OF OSMANTHUS bumped. Approaching the 1200 Metres, KING OF FISH II was left racing wide and without cover and near the 1100 Metres was allowed to stride forward into a position closer to the rail. After the 900 Metres, BRILLIANT CHARIOT was left racing wide and without cover. Near the 600 Metres, MARK GOOD was awkwardly placed inside the heels of PRECISION MAGIC which got its head on the side and shifted in when racing tight inside BRILLIANT CHARIOT. Rounding the Home Turn, PRECISION MAGIC and BRILLIANT CHARIOT bumped, resulting in BRILLIANT CHARIOT becoming unbalanced. Inside the 100 Metres, EASY AHEAD, when being ridden out, shifted out abruptly, resulting in its rider, Apprentice T H So, becoming badly unbalanced. A veterinary inspection of KING OF FISH II after the race did not show any significant findings. LET’S GOAL, EASY AHEAD and ROMANCING TAMAR were sent for sampling.
