2 7 REFUSETOBEENGLISH (K362) Jumped only fairly. Over the final 150 Metres lay in and away from MIGHTY COMMANDER and as a result its rider A Atzeni had difficultly fully testing his mount when positioned close to GREATER BAE. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 11 TOURBILLON GOLFER (K320) A Badel was fined the sum of $5,000 for using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height inside the 100 Metres.
4 3 MIGHTY COMMANDER (J360) Raced ungenerously in the early stages when being shifted across behind runners from a wide barrier. In the middle stages raced keenly and near the 750 Metres was steadied to avoid SUPER JOY N FUN. Lay in in the Home Straight and proved difficult to ride out.
