1 7 MASTER RESOLUTE (K403) Shortly after the start was bumped by LIGHTNING ACE which was bumped and taken in by ENJOY GOLF. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 6 BITS SUPERSTAR (J362) Sent for sampling post-race.
3 8 FALCON HUNTER (K503) Rounding the Home Turn initially shifted out to improve and was disappointed for sufficient racing room between FORTUNE WHISKEY and LIGHTNING ACE. As a result FALCON HUNTER was shifted back in after the 300 Metres and then had difficulty gaining clear running over the concluding stages. C L Chau accidentally dropped his whip inside the 100 Metres.

8 9 LUCKY MAN (J315) Hung out rounding the turn near the 900 Metres. Near the 50 Metres got unbalanced when bumped on the hindquarters by LIGHTNING ACE which shifted in. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 5 LIGHTNING ACE (L136) Inside the 100 Metres was laying in and near the 50 Metres got unbalanced after making contact with the hindquarters of LUCKY MAN.
10 1 SUPERB KING (K479) J Orman reported that his mount was required to do too much work in the early stages from the outside barrier to take up a forward position and as a result failed to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
11 12 ENJOY GOLF (J222) H Bentley stated that his mount failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight and the performance overall was, in his opinion, disappointing. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WV-A 11 YEUX DE LIFELINE (K455) Fractious in the barriers and became cast under the front gates. Was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was not suitable to race. Acting on this advice the horse was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. Before being allowed to race again, YEUX DE LIFELINE will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
