Racing Incident Report

1 4 SOMELOVEFROMABOVE (J503) Near the 350 Metres made contact with RIDING HIGH when that runner was shifted out to improve. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 1 VICTOR THE RAPID (J393) Shortly after the start became unbalanced when crowded between HAPPY PARK and SAME TO YOU which shifted in. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 9 SAME TO YOU (H057) Shifted in shortly after the start and became unbalanced when bumped. Trainer M Newnham confirmed that he had instructed L Hewitson to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages.
4 10 RIDING HIGH (J403) Bumped on jumping. Shifted out near the 350 Metres and was bumped.
5 8 HAPPY PARK (J311) Jumped awkwardly and then shortly after the start made contact with VICTOR THE RAPID. K Teetan stated that his mount did not travel well throughout the event and responded only fairly to his riding in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, HAPPY PARK will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.
6 3 FUN ELITE (J042) No report.
7 7 CALIFORNIA DEEPLY (G451) Jumped only fairly.
8 5 KING CANNON (K543) Jumped only fairly. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
9 2 STARRY SHOW (L074) M F Poon reported that his mount raced greenly during the event and near the 600 Metres was steadied when it shifted out across FORTUNE WARRIOR.
10 11 UP WITH CHARM (K139) Leaving the 600 Metres was hampered when taken wider by STARRY SHOW which shifted out. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, UP WITH CHARM will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
11 6 TOPSPIN KING (L141) No report.
12 12 FORTUNE WARRIOR (H229) Bumped on jumping. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
