Racing Incident Report

Pla. Horse No. Horse Incident
1 3 SUPERB CAPITALIST (H092) Bumped on jumping. When questioned regarding the improved performance Trainer A S Cruz stated that the horse was advantaged by racing over 1000 Metres at the Happy Valley track where it had performed well in previous race starts. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 1 HORSEPOWER (J431) Bumped shortly after the start. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 2 CANDLELIGHT DINNER (J468) Bumped at the start.
4 7 TOGETHER WE VALUE (L170) Shortly after the start was crowded between CASA OF HONOR which was taken out by HORSEPOWER and CENTRAL BANK which was racing tight to the inside of YOUTHFUL SPIRITS.
5 11 CENTRAL BANK (L222) Crowded shortly after the start. For a short distance approaching the 150 Metres was hampered when taken wider by CASA OF HONOR. C L Chau confirmed that from his wide barrier he was requested to take up a forward position.
6 6 ROYAL BLITZ (L375) Jumped only fairly. Shortly after the start made contact with SUPERB CAPITALIST and then shifted out and made contact with HORSEPOWER.
7 10 MR DESIRA (K411) Shifted in at the start and made contact with CANDLELIGHT DINNER. J Moreira reported that his mount was pressured in the lead by CASA OF HONOR and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
8 8 CASA OF HONOR (K310) Crowded shortly after the start. M F Poon stated that the horse was disadvantaged when pressured in the lead, particularly when YOUTHFUL SPIRITS improved to its outside in the early stages. He said as a result CASA OF HONOR was unable to finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 5 LA FORZA (J285) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 12 COPPER CORE (L214) Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
11 4 YOUTHFUL SPIRITS (J082) Shifted in shortly after the start and was bumped. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event before giving ground in the Home Straight.
12 9 MASTER CHAMPION (K266) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
