Racing Incident Report

MASTER MARAUDER was withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (blood abnormality and muscle stiffness). Before being allowed to race again, MASTER MARAUDER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. After being boxed, DANSKE VERY MUCH got its head up on a number of occasions and when the gates opened began awkwardly, threw its head about and lost ground. After this, DANSKE VERY MUCH was taken across behind runners to a position on the fence but with the rear. SPECTACULAR TIMES, FORTUNE WARRIOR and GOLD SANDFIELD were slow to begin. TRAVEL LEADER began awkwardly and blundered. Passing the 1600 Metres, CHALLENGER raced tight inside LAZY BUDDIES which in turn was tight inside SYLLABUS. Some crowding was also caused to SPECIFIC SORCEROR which was racing inside CHALLENGER. From the 900 Metres, FORTUNE WARRIOR raced wide and without cover. SYLLABUS and COTTON BALL were sent for sampling.
