Racing Incident Report

ENGROSSING lifted its front feet off the ground as the start was effected and consequently was slow to begin.
Approaching the 1500 Metres, ENGROSSING shifted in abruptly way from the heels of LEVEL PLAYER, resulting in MALHECHOR GOLD being hampered.
After the 1100 Metres, LITTLE MEN was left racing wide and without cover.
Near the 700 Metres, COOL BEAN was awkwardly placed close to the heels of GOLDEN SCALPEL.
ENTHUSIASM had difficulty obtaining clear running until after the 300 Metres.
After the race, Z Purton reported that OXFORD CHARLEY did not feel comfortable in its action when giving ground in the Straight. A veterinary inspection of OXFORD CHARLEY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of ENGROSSING immediately following the race revealed the horse to have bled from both nostrils.
MEDALLIST and LITTLE MEN were sent for sampling.
