1 11 MY MARS (L301) Shifted in on jumping and was bumped. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 6 TURQUOISE VELOCITY (K533) Over the concluding stages lay out, resulting in its rider M L Yeung having to correct his mount approaching the winning post. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 3 YOUNG EMPEROR (K011) Between the 350 Metres and the 250 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running. Between the 200 Metres and the 100 Metres again had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a narrow run between TURQUOISE VELOCITY and JUMBO TREASURE.
4 5 CHILL BUDDY (K469) When being crossed by JUMBO TREASURE near the 1000 Metres commenced to race keenly, shifted out and made contact with MASTER OF ALL.
5 1 CROSSBORDERPEGASUS (K008) J Orman stated that his mount jumped only fairly and then blundered and as a result lost ground. Lay in under pressure in the Home Straight.
6 12 YEE CHEONG GLORY (K074) No report.
7 7 THE UNIQUE STAR (L122) Near the 150 Metres could not be ridden out when racing in restricted room between QUANTUM LEGEND and CROSSBORDERPEGASUS which shifted in. K Teetan advised that from the outside barrier he had been instructed to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages.
8 4 JUMBO TREASURE (K249) Apprentice H Y Yuen stated that after leading the event her mount did not respond to her riding in the Home Straight and, in her opinion, was disappointing. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 10 QUANTUM LEGEND (L268) On jumping was crowded when bumped by MY MARS which shifted in. Z Purton advised that the horse, which was having its first race start in the Hong Kong, would derive a fitness benefit from today’s performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
10 9 NEW FUTURE FOLKS (J418) Jumped awkwardly. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. C Y Ho reported that his mount hung out throughout the event before giving ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
11 8 MASTER OF ALL (H177) Bumped near the 1000 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WV 2 SMART GOLF (L004) Was a late withdrawal acting on veterinary advice after it was found to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, SMART GOLF will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
